Bruce I. Miller
05-19-1942 - 01-02-2005

Thank you to all of those who have called, emailed, written or stopped by. The amount of support we got at the services were unreal, too. It is good to know how many people could come out to celebrate my father's life and stand by us in our time of mourning. My mom, grandmother, brother, sister and uncles all appreciated all that had been said and offered. Thank you again from all of us. There is still a long road ahead.

My big brother's tribute

Bruce I Miller - 05/19/1942 - 01/02/2005

01-02-05 - My Dad, Bruce Irwin Miller passed away at 1:09pm in Chester County Hospital after a long battle against illness at the age of 62. My Dad had been fighting diabetes, lung, heart and most recently kidney problems. He leaves behind my Mom Judy, Mother Betty, Brothers Don, Doug & Walt, my Brother Dan, my Sister Micki and me. He was a loving husband and father who did the best he could to provide, and showed me that you should always have a good work ethic. He also taught me to not just give up, even until his passing where he still didn't give up when he wanted to. He still fought it.
For those who knew my Dad, he did all he could for those who asked his help. He was a kind and caring man, but he was also bold and honest. Which although at times it may have gotten him in some sort of trouble, I respected that he said how he really felt. He also had been a member of the Berwyn fire Company for over 35 years, where he had served as an Engineer, an ambulance driver/attendant, Deputy and Chief Engineer. He was also a Veteran of the Army serving in Germany just before Vietnam.
Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. I will post any arrangements when they have been made. If I don't try to talk much right now, I hope you understand and will ask for your support as I need it as I also thank you all in advance.
I Love you and will miss you, Pop, but you are in a much better place now.
